Reappearance?

Nov 14, 2008

So I’ve just taken the last month to be on hiatus from my regular routine so I could help take care of the new boy. It was a lot of fun and now it’s time to get back to work.

My month off ended up being closer to a month and a half of no blogging, little twittering, and almost no emails – so if you’ve dropped me one recently, I promise I’ll respond back quickly. With the exception of a redesign of the this site (check it out if you haven’t looked) I pretty much left my computer along. It was real nice.

The main reason I haven’t been able to get back into a routine in the last two weeks- other than my house is crazy with these two kids – I’ve taken on some freelance work that’s had to take precedence over this blog. So look for some cool new projects here shortly including some work I’m doing for a local chapter of the SPCA.

So what’s it like with two kids in the house, a 14 month old and a 5 week old? It’s insane. Lots of not sleeping, lots of coffee (but I guess that’s usual), and lots of walking around in circles trying to figure out if it’s a Saturday or if it’s Tuesday, or if it’s 8 at night and not 8 in the morning.

I hear it gets less hectic after the first 18 years. Wish me luck.
